The 2018 HUG Annual General Meeting was held on August 28th where the annual report, including financial statements, was presented. The report gives everyone an insight in to all the wonderful achievements in Uganda over the past 12 months, including the competition of the library, science & computer laboratories and 2 additional classrooms at Suubi Secondary School. Our wonderful Smiling HeARTs project also took another leap forward by securing a house in Masaka Town where vocational studies will be taught to disabled youth.
Our huge thanks goes to our amazing board members, Tony Hetherington, Pauline Corcoran, Justin Sullivan, Loretta Lilford, Aaron Luxmoore, Beth Lilford and Helen Brown who have committed to another year on the board. This team has worked tirelessly to date and look forward to inspiring an even wider community of HUGgers to help us to continue to make a positive difference in Uganda.
